Now, the minimus is thee smallest muscle, it is underneath the medius and maximus. Smallest. Now, there are three body planes (in terms of fitness and movement): sagittal, coronal, and traverse. SQUATS ARE SAGITTAL. The minimus- are built through sagittal planes. The MAXIMUS AND MEDIUS are built through traverse and coronal planes, such as unilateral exercises (FOR size, FOR shape), because what’s needed are the usage of hamstrings over quads, quads are which squats focuses more on. Therefore, exercises that develop each of the gluteal muscles and target them from ALL angles are the best to use, Lunges. Now “Barney Style”. Squats are: Up and Down. Is your ass flat?
